Technique Fitness is an elite personal training company specializing in weight loss, strength training, and nutrition. My name is Jarrod Johnson.

I am the owner and creator of Technique Fitness. I chose this name because I've found technique to be the most important aspect of training for maximum results with minimal injury. I received my B.S. in Biology from ETSU and have 2 certifications through AAAI/ ISMA including Master Trainer. If you are part of our gym, you know our guy Will Cameron. Will is a steadfast leader, friend, and badass trainer. Not only did he serve our country but continues to serve our community, holding others above himself. We want to give him the shout out he deserves. From opening up the gym at 5am, to training new trainers, to writing plans on his own time. We are eternally grateful for his work ethic and constant pursuit to be better. Feet position higher on the leg press is easier on the knees and hits more hamstring !

Go LIGHT and LONG with lateral raises. Don’t go above shoulder height so you can minimize trap involvement. And keep elbows above wrists to activate more of the entire deltoid.
