Our fall season is a wrap. Didn’t see a bear old enough to pursue but had fun watching bears, hanging out, trekking and sleeping in the bushes! Deer season was super fun! I am always amazed at how blessed we are to live in a place as adventurous as Kodiak Island.

Time for the draw application process for next year!

We were once again blessed with a great Kodiak fall bear hunt through Dick Rohrer Inc! Congratulations to Tom who worked hard, stayed the course and prevailed! Thank you for letting me be a part of your Kodiak adventure!

We have a last minute Sitka Blacktail hunt available through Dick Rohrer Inc. for 2 hunters with myself as your guide this November! We are anticipating a good year of deer hunting. Anyone interested in coming to Kodiak with a friend or family member on a guided hunt with cabin amenities give us a call!

Another grinder of a September on Kodiak Island! Congrats to Ryan, Joe, Nik and Bob! They fought through rain, fog and wind and still managed to have a great time! Thank you fellas! Well deserved!

Another grinder of a bear season on our side of the island again! It’s difficult to fully express the rollercoaster of emotions on a Kodiak Island Brown Bear hunt with the natural beauty, amazing array of animals, quality time spent in the field and physical and mental difficulty dealing with weather and long days with little sleep. Congratulations to Jerry on his journey to pursue such an amazing critter. Special thanks to Rohrer Bear Camp, a truly professional and exceptional group of guides who are with their guys each step of the way. I am blessed to be a part of it!
