Our cameras supposedly had an improvement in detecting what the cameras see. Second evening that I have been alerted that a bear was in the barn. I don’t think the software upgrade is accurate. System upgrade failure. We don’t have bears here.

We still have extra tenants in our pasture. They have grown tremendously. Their fawn spots are fading. It won’t be long and they will evict themselves. Maybe we should name them. Must be gender neutral names though. As we will never know doe/doe, doe/buck or buck/buck.

We knew we were going to stop running Jessie in 2027 to breed and attempt to have a foal by her in 2028. Been the plan for over a year. However, we did not know that this was the last time she would be saddled to run a pattern on Saturday, August 1, 2026. For whatever reason, I took this picture during the drag and they were up next for the last time.
