At the Kokomo Family YMCA, we understand that taking the first step to learn to swim can feel intimidating. That’s why our caring, certified instructors create a safe, private, and supportive environment designed to help you find joy in the water. In our Youth Sports program, we’ve seen kids walk in nervous and walk out high-fiving teammates they just met. That’s the magic of youth sports at the Y! What happens when you trade the conference room for a challenge course designed to bring a team together? Great things happen! Yesterday, we had the privilege of hosting the Leadership Kokomo team for a day filled with outdoor team-building exercises, high ropes course challenges, creative collaborations, and insightful discussions on fostering better communication and leadership. The enthusiasm and hard work displayed by everyone made the experience memorable and inspiring. Thank you, Leadership Kokomo, for choosing our Y in the Sky Adventure Course for your day out of the office!

Join us Nov. 2 6th to combat those holiday calories while you have fun walking or running our scenic course. The first 100 participants to register will receive a limited edition turkey trot hoodie WITH the infamous turkey eyes on the hood! Our annual Turkey Trot is a timed, family-friendly race and every participant receives a T-shirt & medal. Proceeds benefit the Kokomo Family YMCA's Annual Campaign. Through our Before and After School Enrichment (BASE) program, we've got your childcare needs covered! Kids will have fun exploring and playing with friends, receive assistance with their homework, enjoy a light snack, and have plenty of opportunities to be active and creative during their free time.
