Mary Clough from RSB Poipu in Hawaii says, “I entered this arena because someone I loved was diagnosed with Parkinson’s. I clearly remember being in the diagnosing doctor’s office after looking for months for a name to go with my husband’s symptoms. So the journey began. I got my certificate to become a personal trainer. My only problem was my husband didn’t care to be “bossed around” by me! I read about Rock Steady Boxing and made the arrangements to take the course in Indianapolis. If my husband could deal with Parkinson’s, I could deal with ubering in a strange city.” This was the beginning of RSB Poipu. “It still amazes me. Although I wouldn’t wish Parkinson’s on anyone, it has brought my husband and I on this incredible experience.” Thank you Paul and Mary Clough for your dedication to helping others with Parkinson’s disease fight back.
