The Los Angeles Wildfire Youth Ultimate The Los Angeles Wildfire (U20) and the Los Angeles Embers (U15) are co-ed youth ultimate teams open Previous playing experience is desired but not necessary.

The Los Angeles Wildfire (formerly Foothill Wildfire) was founded in the summer of 2015. Wildfire is a U20 youth ultimate team currently coached by Kat Curry. In 2018 the program added a U15 team, the Los Angeles Embers, that is currently inactive but will be reestablished given sufficient interest. Wildfire practices are open to all interested players ages 12-19. All athletic individuals with a positive attitude, willingness to learn, and interest in the sport are welcome. Wildfire competes in scrimmages against local teams and in local and regional tournaments. Practices are in Pasadena on Sunday mornings from 10am-12pm usually at Hahamonga Watershed Park, and other fields as field availability and conditions require. Wildfire Youth Ultimate Frisbee is taking a September break this year to reimagine how our practices are run and to find new ways to spread the game of ultimate frisbee to more youth players. We will be starting the year on October 18th with a clinic, followed by scrimmaging. Specific field and time tbd, but likely in the afternoon and in the Pasadena area. We are working with SCYU to make this a successful event. But we need YOU to encourage your friends to join us. The clinic will be divided into an intro group for the new players and more advanced drills for the experienced.
