Okay please tell me I’m not the only one 😂🎣

I’ve been fishing basically my entire life, and I’ve heard people talk about barometric pressure a million times.

“The pressure is dropping.”
“High pressure today.”
“Fishing should be good before that front.”

Cool…except WHAT THE HECK IS BAROMETRIC PRESSURE?! 😂

So I’m finally learning.

Basically, barometric pressure is the pressure of the air around us. Air has weight, and it presses down on everything—including the water we’re fishing.

And when it comes to fishing, I’m learning that we want to pay attention to whether that pressure is falling, staying stable, or rising because changing weather conditions can affect fish behavior.

Now I need to figure out WHY air pressure affects fish underwater. 😂 That’s next!

Casting Queens isn’t about knowing everything about fishing. It’s about getting out there, learning, and becoming better anglers together. 💗🎣

Where are my girls who actually LOVE to fish? 🎣💕

And I don’t just mean the girls whose profile picture is them holding a fish 😂

I mean the girls working 9–5s.
The moms chasing toddlers all day.
The women who have a million things going on but will drop everything when someone says, “Wanna go fishing?”

Maybe you don’t get on the water every weekend. Maybe fishing has to fit somewhere between work, kids, laundry and real life.

But you LOVE it.

THOSE are the women I’m trying to find. 👑

In my opinion backing up the boat trailer was the worst thing ever until someone taught me this trick. I could never wrap my mind about turning the wheel in the opposite direction to make the trailer go one way vs the other. Even typing that is confusing. This tip helped me a ton. My brain can go on auto pilot and I don't have to do summer salts in my mind trying to figure it out.🚤

The best fishing advice my dad ever gave me?

Write down your catches. 🎣

Not just the big ones. Write down the weather, water temp, what you caught it on, where the fish were holding… all of it.

Because eventually you start seeing the patterns.

And THAT is when you start becoming a better angler.
