Oh! April 23rd at the Ranchito Fernandez Low-budget Pleasure Pavilion. A vertical from my cellar, brewed by my friend Shawn who is one of the best brewers I know - I learned a lot from him.
This is the seed for an old school bottle share. After the vertical is done open what you bring. I’ll have nuts, cheese, and sausage. Bring munchies and The gas grill will be ready if you want to use it. There’s a green for Bocce Ball or Kubb. And the cigar section as well. From 3:00pm until *cough* sometime. PM me if you’re interested.

Remember when we used to get together on Zoom because of Covid? Well - in honor of Omnichron - I’m hosting a Zoom party call starting at 6:00pm PST tonight 01/15. I’ll be on the patio with a couple friends.
If you want to drop in on Zoom and raise a glass, comment and I’ll send you the link in a private message.

Next project. Get the junk hauled away from behind the garage and put in a firewood rack.

Me and my pals reading the owner’s manual for our new patio gas grill. The Ranchito Fernandez Low-budget Pleasure Pavilion will be ready for your sausage insertion.

Newest addition for the Ranchito Fernandez Low-budget Pleasure Pavilion. A table top gas grill. That means I can hold all day open house get togethers like I did last weekend. Friends can show up any time with burgers, brats, lamb chops or whatever at any time - and the grill will be hot without having to fiddle with charcoal. Lawn games, grillin’, chillin’, all day and night.
Next is the upgrade to the patio cover.
The Pavilion will be post pandemic ready for hours of good times. Start planning your good eats to bring over. It will as always be a casual open invitation event. Looking forward to good company and a good time.

By May I should have the lumpiest lawn bowling / bocce ball green on the planet. That should even the odds on the day drinking weekend games I’m imagining will happen at the Ranchito Fernandez Low-budget Pleasure Pavilion when the world opens. 😁💕
Co****le might work too, but I’ve heard lawn darts and beer don’t mix well. 🤣

Excuse me!....
It's not even spring yet.

Grooming a nice lawn space for games. Bocce ball, lawn bowling, or something. It should be ready for summer fun.

With an evening sky like this, sheltering at the Ranchito Fernandez Low-budget Pleasure Pavilion ain’t so bad.
Cheers and good health my friends.

I need wood for the fire pit. Maybe a bigger fire pit. Cigar tray and torch on hand tomorrow. Low budget perfection is a step by step process.

Getting closer to the (not so) Grand Re-opening. Have to test the heater and the fire pit. Perhaps a few friends/family next weekend, but you’ll have to dress warm. Any interested?

2 years under the sun, a little rip early in the week, a lot of wind last night - looks like it’s time to repair or replace the Pavilion.

Smoking section, ci**rs or ci******es (whatever). You got your bird bath, ash pan, fire pit. Not bad for low budget privileged place.

Cleaned up. The weather should stay above 60F 24 hours each day. No rain predicted. Soft opening of the Pleasure Pavilion is Friday night. Friends and family only. We'll have beer, cheese, nuts, and maybe a little fire pit action. Bring a snack if you wish and a beer to share. Nothing fancy, something special.

Cambodia, Thailand - sure it sounds exotic. But I'll be happy to get back home to the Pleasure Pavilion.

For those visiting the Ranchito Fernandez Low-budget Pleasure Pavilion for the first time, here's what to expect.
• A Chihuahua named Abbey who will bark at you for 5 minutes - then may decide you are her best friend.
• A humble small home, with a rather large yard.
• The Pleasure Pavilion, or 10' x 20' carport cover over a big patio.
We - me and Abbey - are not fancy, nor do we pretend to be fancy, so feel free to be as casual as you wish.

The pleasure pavilion is looking suspiciously like a 20 liter pilot/test brew station has invaded.

New coop. Now you can get clucked at the Ranchito Fernandez Low-budget Pleasure Pavilion.

We should get a bee hive too.
