The UCSD Club Field Hockey team is co-ed and runs throughout Fall quarter (Sept-Dec) and Spring quarter (April-June). We look forward to playing with you!
All new and experienced players are welcome! Our regular game season is during Fall Quarter: beginning of September until the first week of December. We practice 3 days a week from 6-8pm on Monday and Thursday, and 5-7pm on Wednesday. We also have a Spring Season starting mid-April and runs through Memorial Weekend in May. Last Fall practice means TEAM COMPETITION DAY!!! Lots of games and the competitiveness came out! Prizes included! Santa + Crew came in 1st and the Candy Canes came in 2nd!

Perfect 1st day of December!!! We had our last practice before we head to our playoff weekend at SLO! We had a team competition day and it was a blast! Then ended practice with our annual secret santa gift exchange! We ❤️ this team!

UCSD fockey was on the road this weekend! We took a little day trip to LA to play Claremont McKenna and got the DUB! Rounded out the day with some birthday celebrations and team bonding! Couldn't ask for a better team!

It's SPOOKY season! The fog rolled in at practice last night and we had an awesome full field inter-squad scrimmage!

We had our first conference game of the season this past weekend and got the W!!! We beat USC 11-3 at our home opener!!!

Our Story
The sport of Field Hockey was introduced to University of California, San Diego in 2009. Since then, we have progressed to winning two championships and taking third place once over the last 9 years.
Our regular game season is during Fall Quarter: beginning of September until the first week of December. We practice 3 days a week from 6-8pm on Monday and Thursday, and 5-7pm on Wednesday. We also have a Spring Season starting early-April and runs through Memorial Weekend in May. The Spring Season will have practices 3 days a week from 4-6pm on Monday and Thursday, and 5:30-7pm on Tuesday.
Our preseason tryouts are to get you familiar with our practices and how our team is run, and will start Monday September 24, 2018 on Muir field from 6-8pm. We will also have tryouts that Wednesday and Thursday from 6-8pm on Muir field.
We encourage all new and experienced players to come out for the team. It will be one of the best decisions you will make while you are here at UCSD. We have a great group of dedicated and talented players as well as a fantastic coaching staff who are looking for new additions to the program.
