For the past 10+ years, I've been sharing & teaching about Forgiveness & Grief and it feels good to have two published books.

The Forgive Yourself book, shows you how to forgive yourself, forgive others, living a forgiving life and using forgiveness for your growth.

The Journey to Your Heart Space takes you through an 11 step process that eases you into Forgiveness with 11 Mandalas to color so you can ease into the process.

Grief shows up in more ways than you think.

It can be the loss of a job or a relationship or your kids leaving home or your body changing or even aging and not being able to do the things that you used to be able to do.

As someone who has been grieving different losses in my life, like my husband living with dementia, caregiving challenges, struggling with chronic pain, I feel you and I understand.

True self-care starts with the way we talk to ourselves. 🗣️

When we stop fighting our bodies and choose partnership, healing truly begins.

As Fibromyalgia Coach, Tami Stackelhouse shared, “My body and I, we are actually on the same team. How can I support her so that she can support me?”

Instead of punishment or blame, let's nurture ourselves with compassion—laying the foundation for lasting wellness. 🤗

Feeling behind isn’t failure. It’s just a different path. ✨

For so many women, the ache of “I thought I’d have life figured out by now” runs deep. But what if your journey, with all its ups, downs, and delays, actually shows your quiet strength and resilience? You’re not late to your life. You’re right on time for this chapter where you finally get to ask: “What do I want? What do I need?”

Grieve the dreams that changed, honor what you’ve survived, and meet yourself with compassion. Self-forgiveness isn’t erasing the past. It’s learning to soften your relationship with it, and allowing yourself to grow. 🌱

You are not behind. You matter. Trust yourself, and choose YOU moving forward.

Have you ever felt like you’re “behind” in life?

So many women I work with (and me too!) wrestle with regrets about not being as healed, confident, or fulfilled as we thought we’d be by now. But I’ve learned that those invisible timelines we carry never account for all the real, messy, human things we go through—loss, caretaking, heartbreak, survival. Feeling behind doesn’t mean we’ve failed; it means our path just required our energy in different ways.

If you’re starting to ask, “Who am I?” or “What do I want?”—you’re not late. It means you finally have space to hear yourself. And if you’re grieving the life you imagined or choices you wish you’d made differently, that’s okay too. Grief is part of self-forgiveness and moving forward.

Let’s stop asking why we’re behind and start asking: What have I survived? What wisdom have I gained? What quiet strengths do I hold? I want you to trust yourself and know that all your experiences matter. You’re exactly where you need to be, and you matter deeply. ⏳✨

So many women don’t hate themselves.

They just live in a quiet relationship with judgment.

Not because they’re broken.

Not because they’re doing life wrong.

But because somewhere along the way, they learned that being hard on themselves was how they stayed safe, good, and accepted.

What if real change doesn’t come from being tougher on yourself… but from feeling a little safer inside?

You’re allowed to be human.

You’re allowed to be in process.

You’re allowed to meet yourself with kindness. 💓

🌱 What does true self-love actually look like? It’s not about feeling amazing all the time or reciting affirmations we don’t believe. Real love is much simpler.

✨ It’s pausing before you attack yourself. It’s acknowledging when something in you is struggling and getting curious instead of critical. It’s listening to your body instead of overriding your feelings, and letting yourself be human in all your messy, imperfect humanness.

Let’s practice loving ourselves the same way we’d support a friend: with patience, gentleness, and presence.

You deserve kindness from yourself. 💗

You are so worthy of your kindness. ☺️

So many of us are incredibly patient and understanding with others, but harsh with ourselves.

Today, let’s remember: you deserve the same gentle tone you give to the people you love.

Speak to yourself with kindness—because you are worth it, just as you are. 💛

For so many years I believed something was wrong with me. 😔

My body.
My energy.
My ability to “keep up.”

What I see now is something different.

I wasn’t broken.
I was surviving.

So many high-achieving women grew up learning that love came from being useful, strong, and selfless.

That doesn’t make you defective.

It makes you human.

And it means you’re allowed to learn a new way now.

You are not broken. ⛓️‍💥
You are becoming. 🌻

Forgiveness is not about pretending it didn’t hurt. It’s about allowing yourself to grieve what was lost.

In this clip from Episode 99 of the Forgive Yourself Podcast, I talk about the quiet truth many of us avoid. Sometimes we are not just grieving what happened. We are grieving the version of ourselves we thought we would be.

You can miss what could have been.
You can wish you had chosen differently.
And you can still accept who you are today.

Self love is holding all of it. The regret. The growth. The strength. The tenderness.

You are allowed to grieve. And you are allowed to stay. 🏠

Forgiveness isn’t about fixing yourself or rushing to “get over it.” It’s about gently witnessing your truth and honoring the parts of you that were just doing their best.

As I share in Episode 99 of the Forgive Yourself Podcast, true self-forgiveness comes only after we allow ourselves to feel, grieve, and recognize the ways we have protected or survived.

Whether you’re struggling to forgive yourself for how you showed up, decisions you made, or simply not being where you thought you'd be, remember: you matter, and compassionate timing is key. 💛
