There’s just something about a life filled with horses and dogs. 🤎
They’re a whole lot of work. They eat a ridiculous amount of money 😬, they make messes faster than we can clean them up, and there is ALWAYS something that needs done.
But I can’t imagine our life without them.
Horses teach you patience without ever saying a word. They’ll humble you real quick, make you work for their trust, and somehow know when you need them more than you realize.
And dogs… well, dogs just love you. 💕
They don’t care what kind of day you’ve had, what you got accomplished, or what you didn’t. They’re just happy to be beside you—whether that’s in the house, at the barn, in the truck, or tagging along horseback.
Around here, the horses and dogs aren’t just animals we own.
They’re part of our everyday life.
They’re part of the chores, the memories, the laughs, the frustrations, the lessons learned and some of the very best days.
God sure knew what He was doing when He gave us animals to share this life with. 🤎
And I’m pretty sure a good horse underneath you and a good dog beside you can make almost any day a little better.
“The righteous care for the needs of their animals.” — Proverbs 12:10
