Something about Willie:
Willie is a 3 year old mini donkey. I bought him as a yearling. He is a stud literally! I bought him with intentions of making him into a pack donkey for trails, but he turned into just being my dads donkey. So the only purpose he serves on the farm is making people smile, but for many that is purpose enough!

Something about Rocky:
My mom bought Rocky when he was 10 years old from the Amish. This cool dude is half Quarter Horse, half Hackney Pony. Rocky pulls a cart and rides. He sadly has an old bowed tendon injury so we have to be careful not to over work him but he is one tough pony. He hauls people around on long trails and he keeps on trucking. He is so smart some might say to smart for his own good. I absolutely ADORE that about him. He keeps you on your toes and is just a good pony. Rocky is now 13 years young!

Something about Max:
This big goon right here was bought by my grandparents when he was 3 and green broke. Max is such a good trail horse. He will take you picking through the thickest of trees and not even blink. My dad put the miles on this guy. He may only plow drive and know forward, back, left, right, but he is one of the most trusted trail horses we have at the farm. Max is turning 16 this year.

Something about Splinter:
If you are not new to my page then you already know who this red horse is and what he means to me. They say you have that one horse that comes into your life that changes everything. Splint is that horse for me. He is my heart horse and how we came to be was done by God and I’m forever thankful for this horse❤️

Something about Indee:
I bought this mare when she was 2 years old and rarely touched by humans. She is now 3 years old and I’m still learning about her. Indee chick is a tad more lazy then some of my other horses but when you get her pumped up and excited she is a beautiful mover! This mare is teaching me how to start horses and it’s been quite a journey. Good, bad, ups, downs, but that is okay because it makes it fun!

Something about Chloe:
My grandparents bought this mare when she was about 7 years old. She had just been started in western pleasure. This mare is sassy as all get out but she loves you when you communicate with her and respect her. When you are willing to work with her she will work for you and I love that about her. ‘Bear’ as we call her around home loves arena work but doesn’t like trails. People say they are just a horse you can make them do anything... to each their own but I prefer to think horses are living breathing creatures who have preferences just like us humans. Chloe is now 19!

Something about Samoan:
My mom bought this mare when she was 5 years old and green broke. This mare was considered crazy and not broke by some people, but what I found funny is yes was she green broke but never once did she ever offer to buck or “go crazy”. I finally got threw to her about 2 years ago and learned how to communicate with her as my knowledge increased. Samoan is now used as a lesson horse in the arena. She is kind to her riders and LOVES to be brushed.
