Am I late to this!?

I will say, before trying this, to test a tiny spot on your fridge and wait for it to dry to make sure the marker you used comes off.

But this is amazing! Dry erase on a fridge. I’m for it.

I have been trying to keep a system that keeps me from letting food go to waste. I keep everything listed and take a photo of the list before leaving for the grocery store. It helps me not to forget what I have store me at the bottom of my veggie drawers as well. And no more over buying or allowing food to go bad.

How do you keep track of ensuring your food doesn’t go to waste? Would love to know!! ✨

I’m a big believer that when creating a space whether on a bookshelf, closet, anywhere... you need to give your eyes rest.

When every space feels busy, a room can feel cluttered even when it isn’t. That’s why it’s important to allow a place of rest.

For instance, a perfectly uniform jar set on a counter, matching bins even in just one section of a room, or in this sweet closet we worked on this week where the central point of the closet was filled with white space.

Simplicity is key for allowing that additional calmness while regaining control through tidying! ✨

Plants IN my shower? Yes please.

My new favorite thing is running to for a bundle of eucalyptus, tying yarn to it and hanging it from my shower head.

Not only is it a beautiful display, but it smells great and works to help reduce inflammation in your sinuses. Maintenance is also easy. Once your eucalyptus had lost its scent and has dried out, instead of tossing it, you can use the same bundle and just add scented oil to it.

Self care is important and even the little things can add a bit of relaxation to your routine. ✨

I think it’s super important to create a space for yourself to wind down in. A favorite scent. Something to inspire you and detach you from your phone. And if you know me, a plant will always be close by. Hah.

Want a small tidy project? It’s a good time to clean up your nail polish selection. Did you know that nail polish only has a shelf life of around two years?

Start by checking to see which polishes are too thick to use or find ones that just won’t open, then make sure to store them properly for longer use next time!

Tips for storing:
You should not store them in the bathroom where temperatures fluctuate and make sure to stand them up so the lacquer doesn’t get near the lid, gluing the lid shut.

Small changes overtime add up, helping you to live an organized lifestyle. Happy tidying! ✨

Why is organization so important?

Ideally, we would love to never make a mess in our home, but the truth is that it is bound to happen. But what do you do when it does?

I’ll be the first to admit that my apartment is not always 100% spotless, but when it comes to cleaning, I can get it done in NO TIME. Why? Because every item I own already has it’s place assigned to it and I know where it goes. I never have to guess at where to put anything, I just do it. Cleaning then becomes so easy!!
