And that’s a wrap! ESA finished the year with a pizza party, superlative awards, a special send off for our senior, and (wait for it) A QUIZ BOWL BUZZER SYSTEMS CAKE! 🎂😋 Thank you for a great year!

What a great way to finish the year with a 3rd place win at the STM Tournament! Our youngest players represented ESA in such a great way. 8th grader Emersen Chen also earned 2nd place top scorer of the tournament! The future is bright for ESA Quiz Bowl!

ESA quiz bowl ended the year strong with a 4th place finish overall in Division II. Junior Paxton Fischer earned 3rd place individual high scorer in the division. What a good way to finish the year!

Incredibly proud of our quiz bowl team earning 2nd place at LQBA State Championship! We also had TWO players earn top 6 individuals - Arun Cacodcar (4th) and Perry Joseph (5th). What a great way to end the season!

The ESA Quiz Bowl Team had a wonderful performance at the LQBA State Tournament at Southside today! Arun Cacodcar earned fifth place in individual scoring, and the team placed fourth in the small school division. It was a bit of an ESA Quiz Bowl reunion with alumni from several different years joining to help volunteer as readers at the tournament! So wonderful to reconnect with past team members and get the momentum building for competing at Nationals in Chicago next month!

Congratulations to the ESA A team today for winning third place at the first ever Leesville Invitational Tournament today! Shoutout to Adam, Arun, Siyeon, and Ava!

Thanks so much to everyone who came to today’s ESA Middle School Quiz Bowl Invitational! It was a day of wonderful competition with 12 teams taking part. A special thank you to the upper school quiz bowl team (and alums!) for reading and score keeping and to the middle school parents who helped out. Congratulations to the third place team from Our Lady of Fatima, the second place team from St Michael’s, and the first place team from ESA! Special congratulations as well to our top six individual scorers! Thank you so much for a wonderful day of quiz bowl!
