Tomorrow is the day 🤍
Adage Pilates Centre opens its doors tomorrow for the very first class!
I could not have done this alone. To my incredible family and friends who showed up and stayed up preparing the space with me. Who has contributed in any way- big and small. You had belief in this vision before it was anything more than an idea. You kept me afloat. I owe you the world.
And to every single one of you who signed up before the doors have even opened, sent a message of encouragement, shared our page, or simply believed in me. From the bottom of my very full heart, thank you.
All I can say is that I have always been very passionate about encouraging people to move their bodies. I feel every sort of emotion possible to have the chance to bring my passion to life in a big way. And whether you choose to move with me at Adage or not, my wish for you is to find the movement that moves YOU.
Tomorrow we begin!

Fascia is the connective tissue that holds your entire body together. A continuous web woven around every muscle, organ, and nerve.
When it becomes restricted, you feel it in places you might not expect. Posture. Breathing. The tension that stays no matter how much you stretch.
Fascia responds to sustained, gentle pressure and slow movement , which is why Pilates, myofascial release, and somatic movement can support fascial health in ways that faster, repetitive movement often doesn't.
Slow, intentional movement can also deepen body awareness and improve how we sense ourselves from the inside. It's one of the reasons a class here can feel different from the inside out.

Allégro [uh-LEG-roh] refers to quick, lively movement in ballet. The kind that gets the blood moving and the spirit lifted.
At Adage, we brought that energy to the reformer. Allégro class is athletic and upbeat, with the same intentionality underneath every sequence.
You will be challenged. Thoughtfully, purposefully, and with full attention to how your body is actually doing.
Recommended for those with prior reformer experience. Monday evenings at 5:30pm and Friday mornings at 8am.

Allongé [a-lawn-ZHAY] means to lengthen in ballet. To extend, to reach, to create as much space in the body as possible.
In our studio, an Allongé class is your total reset. Guided meditation, deep stretch, and gentle reformer work, all designed to give your nervous system permission to fully exhale.
Wednesday evenings at 5:30pm. Friday afternoons at noon. All levels, no experience needed.

How does it feel in your body? That question changes everything.
Somatic movement starts from the inside. Where your breath travels, where it stops, what releases, and what stays held.
The nervous system, fascia, and lived experience all shape the way a body moves. That understanding didn't arrive recently. It's what every class at Adage is built from.
Form will always matter. Feeling will deepen your connection.
