Friday Night Lights. It’s time for our students to take action as Week 1 of high school football kicks off🌶️

They are soooo back! Wishing everyone a fantastic first day of classes! And to our Year 2s, happy last first day. 🌶️

A few of our Year 2 students have been working at their skills this summer. Kayla and Hunter have worked football camps while Zachary has been on the move with Varsity spirit. We’re proud that these three have been putting in the reps over the summer to better themselves.

Our Year 2 students spent time this past week assisting with sports physicals for ESA and LCA student-athletes. A big thank you to Louisiana Orthopaedic Specialists for allowing our students to be part of the day, and to our alumna, Maddie Fontenot, for this opportunity!🌶️

Our Year 1 cohort got to check another item off of their summer bucket list thanks to our two special guest lecturers. Learning about ortho emergencies are always more entertaining when you get puppies in the classroom.

At this year’s National Athletic Trainers’ Association Convention, Dr. Aimee had the opportunity to present Amanda Torran’s case study in Philadelphia.

We’re proud to celebrate not only the outstanding work of our students, but also the faculty who invest in mentoring, supporting, and showcasing that work on a national stage.🌶️

There’s no greater joy than going to professional conferences and seeing your alumni! It was great to see Taylor and AK and hear that they are thriving.
