Congratulations to Ryan Leger, Lori Cormier and Nick Carpenter of the team Straight Out of Jim’s who went undefeated at tonight’s Team Captains Vegas Qualifier. APA will be well represented at the National Championship in August. 😀 Thanks to all who participated and a special thanks to White Diamond Billiards for hosting this event!!!

Here’s the updated list of participants for tomorrow’s Vegas qualifier team captains tournament. There is one slot available. If you’re interested, please call the APA Pool League office, 337-407-2267.

White Diamond Billiards opens tomorrow at 10 AM if you wish to get some practice in. Come a little early to pay your entry fee so we can get started for the draw.

Such a great turnout this weekend for the 8 and 9 ball World Qualifier at Evangeline Downs Racetrack and Casino. We thank Evangeline Downs and their staff for helping us put on such a great tournament!!

With over 100 teams participating, it was great to see all those spectators who came out to support their friends and family. Overall, the camaraderie was great, which made for a very enjoyable weekend. We thank everyone for that!

As the saying goes… It takes a village. First and foremost, I would like to thank my office staff and their family members that went above and beyond! The countless hours they spent on preparation for the tournament. And the proof showed! The tournament room and MoJoe’s was BEAUTIFUL!!! Thank you!!!! Heather, Jen, Tanya, Connor, Sara, Bella. Y’all were amazing and I totally appreciate yall! Y’all are the BEST!!!

Congratulations to the 11 teams who will be representing APA Acadiana and competing at the World Championship in Las Vegas from August 3-16, 2026. We wish them the best!!!

Each team won approximately $8,000 and will now vie for a chance to be crowned champion at the World Championships in Vegas! We are well represented!!!
