Back in 2005, DW’s recital theme was “Fly First Class” and we went over and beyond to get the perfect staff picture for our program! This amazing picture was taken at the Lafayette Airport on the tarmac with a plane they had on standby! This will always be one of our favorites📸

Throwback to our COVID Dance Recital!! What a crazy year that was… we were not able to have our performance on Mother’s Day like every year and also couldn’t have an audience! We had our entire studio make signs for our dancers to see while they were dancing and our recital was pushed back until August of that year.

Over the past years, Mrs. Stephanie has invited DW parents to participate in various routines for our yearly recital, but only one time has she choreographed a routine where she called on some younger boys to participate and be our dancer’s partners! It was a routine called “Crazy Little Thing Called Love”. Comment below if you recognize anyone in this picture!

24 years ago, 2 of Mrs. Steph’s biggest blessings came and changed her and her husband’s lives, their twins Jaxon and Chloe. They were a part of DW Family before they were born, and have always been her biggest cheerleaders. They’ve been rocking DW merch since before they could walk! Check out our OG logo on their backs!

Today, we’d like to spotlight Mrs. Lori! She has been with Mrs. Steph through it all in and outside DW! Before DW, Mrs. Steph and Lori were partners-in-crime on the STM Sparkler Dance Team! She then became an assistant at DW after graduating and has been teaching ever since! Mrs. Lori, we love and appreciate you so much. You’ll always be a part of the DW Family!🤍
