This past weekend we finished fifth at the Lafayette Jefferson Regional, just twelve points out of first and advancing 21 boys in 9 events to the State Meet. While we couldn’t be prouder of everyone who competed, notable performances include Lamine Sall winning the long jump with a mark of 22-05.75, Nolan Satterfield and Bennett DuBois both breaking the 800m school record (1:52.54 and 1:52.79, respectively) and finishing 2nd and 4th, Jaylon Cooper going 49.05 while finishing 3rd in the 400m, Jack Greer placing 3rd in the shot, and the 4x800m relay team of Satterfield, Ian Ross, Noah Anderson, and DuBois hitting the state meet standard in a season best of 7:53.06.

We’re looking forward to more exciting performances this Saturday at the State Meet in Bloomington. Events begin at 3pm. Come down and support your Royals!

Last week our boys competed at the toughest sectional meet in the state and walked away with second place, just 7.5 points outside of first. We had several outstanding performances, including Nolan Satterfield’s new school record in the 800m with a time of 1:54.16! Congrats to everyone who competed! We’ll see you all out there tomorrow at the regional meet.

County. Champs. So many great performances across the board tonight and it came down to the last event! What a win at home in front of an amazing crowd. But the job’s not done.

Conference. Champs. Congrats to everyone who competed tonight and helped bring the conference title home! We’re not done yet.

Last night our boys placed 5th overall at the Hoosier State Relays! Our highest finish since 2017 and tied for our second best finish ever. Highlights include our 4x200m relay placing 7th, Raj 6th in the high jump, Lamine 5th in the long jump, and our DMR team getting the W in 10:28.03, good for second best time in school history and 23rd best in state history. Congrats to everyone who competed!

What a night! HSE Boys Track is back. Second at HCC Indoor last night with some impressive performances for March including: Greer 1st in the shot, Raj 1st in the high jump, Newton and Sall 2-3 in the long jump, Gerig 3rd in the 60 hurdles, 3rd in the 4x800m, and the relay of Hicks, Knight, Dubois, and Satterfield winning the DMR in a new meet record (and current 2nd best time in the state) of 10:32.04. The best is yet to come.
