At Joga Bonito, we teach different moves, concepts, and ways to solve the game. But maybe the biggest benefit isn’t learning a new skill. It’s being placed in an environment where players are encouraged and challenged to use skills over and over again.
On a soccer field, with much more space, players like Mabel might attempt these moves only a handful of times during a training session or game. In futsal, they get dozens of repetitions in a short period of time. That’s where repetition turns a move into instinct.
We’re already missing these ballers and can’t wait to get back at it this winter. ❄️

Season ✌️ COMPLETED!
Nothing but gratitude for these ballers and for the trust and passion our soccer community has poured into this program.
Building something from scratch isn’t easy. But our staff does it with so much love. Learning something new and adding it to your game isn’t easy either, but these players embraced the challenge. They chose to put in the work and enjoy the process when they could’ve simply taken the summer off.
Instead, they stepped into an environment where our only ask was simple: Be brave. Take risks. Have fun.
No heavy coaching. No referees. No pressure for results. Just… play.
Best of luck to all of our players as the fall season gets underway at Louisiana Krewe Rush - We hope you take some of what you learned this summer and make it part of your game.

Week 6 ✅
Another session in the books as our players continue to grow their game.
Throughout the first 5 weeks, our players got a chance to work on several futsal concepts such as:
• Using the sole of the foot to dictate the game
• Simplifying Skills Moves + Use of Fake Shots
• The Gato Move (creating separation from defenders without the ball to gain more space and time to receive the ball)
• The Futsal Pivô/Pivot
And today they had the chance to bring it all together in a game-based training environment.
Fantastic work from all players. Let’s finish strong.

🇧🇷🚨Summer Session is officially SOLD OUT.
⚠️Important: Registration DOES NOT automatically guarantee placement in the program. Over the next few days, we will finalize groups and rosters based on group requests, gender, and age group. Each group will consist of 10–11 players.
If we are unable to form a complete group for your player, you will be notified via email and issued a full refund shortly after. We will make every effort to place all registered players by actively working to complete each group.
Our 80-player cap is intentional. It allows us to maintain consistency, maximize coaching attention, and ensure every session is delivered with the same level of energy and quality.
You can expect communication with group assignments by the beginning of next week.

THIS SUMMER, Joga Bonito is BACK. 🇧🇷⚽
After a phenomenal first season, we’re bringing the academy back with an expanded program to keep players active and evolving their game through the off-season.
Expect the same authentic Brazilian futsal environment built on ball control, creativity, 1v1 confidence, and fast decision-making in tight spaces.
This summer we’re adding an extra week of training, making it 8 Saturdays of development and game.

Another weekend of Joga Bonito in the books. And our players got to work on another key concept of Futsal: the DiCesar movement.
The DiCesar is an off-ball futsal movement designed to create space and passing lanes. By timing diagonal runs behind a defender’s back, players shift the defense, break pressure, and open space either to receive the ball themselves or free up a teammate.
We keep moving. We keep growing.
