E-bikes can make cycling more accessible, practical and FUN but a little knowledge goes a long way. ⚡🚲

If you’re new to electric bikes:

✅ Learn your assist levels before riding in traffic
✅ Start on a lower assist setting
✅ Practice smooth starts and stops
✅ Give yourself extra braking distance
✅ Wear a properly fitted helmet
✅ Follow the manufacturer’s battery and charging instructions
✅ Know where your controls are before you need them

Most importantly: take a few practice rides somewhere comfortable before heading into heavier traffic.

Curious about e-bikes? Stop by Capitol Cyclery and let us show you how they work.

You don’t have to ride fast. You don’t have to ride far. And you definitely don’t have to be 25. 🚲

Cycling is about finding the bike that makes YOU comfortable and confident.

For many riders, that might mean:

✅ An upright comfort bike
✅ An easy-to-mount step-through frame
✅ An e-bike for a little extra assistance
✅ An adult trike for added stability

The right bike can open the door to neighborhood rides, exercise, errands and simply spending more time outside.

That’s why we stock bikes for practically every type of rider — not just racers.

Come see us and let us help find the bike that fits the way you want to ride.
