🎓 SENIOR SPOTLIGHT | CHARLIE FAUL 🏈

As we celebrate the Class of 2027, we’re excited to shine the spotlight on ACA Defender Charlie Faul, a senior at ACA!

Charlie has already sworn into the United States Navy, where he plans to pursue a career as an air traffic controller. His favorite part of ACA has been the “iron on iron” competition — coming out every day determined to get better and taking the small steps necessary to become great.

Charlie hopes his teammates remember the energy and excitement he brought to the team every day. Being a “ball of light” for the team means a lot to him, especially knowing that practice can be a happy place for his teammates and that he helped make people feel welcome and excited to be there.

💬 Charlie’s advice to the younger Defenders:
“Heart will always overcome physicals. Blocking out the noise and putting in work will forever take you farther than someone that has no morals.”

🎓 SENIOR SPOTLIGHT | JOE ANDERSON 🏈

As we celebrate the Class of 2027, we’re excited to shine the spotlight on ACA Defender Joe Anderson, a senior at Anderson Homeschool!

After graduation, Joe plans to focus on fighting with the goal of becoming a professional fighter. When he isn’t on the football field, he enjoys lifting weights and training in martial arts. His favorite part of ACA has been having the opportunity to play football in a Christian community.

Joe hopes his teammates remember that he gave everything he had on the field and refused to quit until he physically couldn’t give anymore.

💬 Joe’s advice to the younger Defenders:
“Whatever battle you are going through, whatever struggle you have, give it to God. Go to Him with it. He will help you.”

Joe points them to Psalm 55:22: “Cast your cares on the LORD and he will sustain you; he will never let the righteous be shaken.”

🎓 SENIOR SPOTLIGHT | PIERCE HERNANDEZ 🏈

As we celebrate the Class of 2027, we’re excited to shine the spotlight on ACA Defender Pierce Hernandez, a senior at Acadiana Christian Homeschool!

After graduation, Pierce is considering diesel mechanics and heavy machinery classes with the goal of becoming a diesel mechanic, or spending a gap year at His Hill Bible School. His favorite part of ACA has been the brotherhood and the friendships he has made along the way.

When asked what he hopes his teammates remember about him, Pierce said he hopes to be remembered as a Christ-like leader.

💬 Pierce’s advice to the younger Defenders:
“Give it your all, appreciate the time you have as a young man without many responsibilities, be in the moment, and keep your eyes on the Lord through everything.”

Pierce can’t wait to see what his senior season brings — win or lose.

🎓 SENIOR SPOTLIGHT | LUKE SMITH 🏈

As we celebrate the Class of 2027, we’re excited to shine the spotlight on ACA Defender Luke Smith, a senior at First Baptist Christian School!

After graduation, Luke plans to continue his education and hopes to have the opportunity to play football at the next level. His favorite part of ACA has been the brotherhood and getting to play the sport he loves alongside his friends.

When asked what he hopes his teammates remember about him, Luke said he hopes they remember that he made an impact, was a good influence and friend, and was a Christ-like example.

💬 Luke’s advice to the younger Defenders:
“Keep Christ first in your life, work hard and if you stay committed, it’ll pay off in the end.”

Luke is excited for his senior season and for what God has in store for his future.
