One Quarterback. Two Uniforms. 🏈

Lafayette senior Luke Warner Smith is playing quarterback for two teams this fall. After throwing for 2,560 yards with the Acadiana Christian Athletics Defenders (11-man) last season — top 13 among all Louisiana high school QBs in 2025 — he's now suited up for both the Defenders and the First Baptist Christian School Eagles (8-man), who are headed to the ACEL state playoffs for the first time in school history.
