Southern Nationals officially kicked off… and Mother Nature made sure we’d never forget it! 🌧️⛈️😂

Our 8U, 14U 2030, and 14U 2029 teams braved an absolute monsoon for pin trading and the awards ceremony, but not even the rain could wash away the excitement!

A huge congratulations to our 8U squad, who finished the season number 1 in points and earned the number 1 seed heading into the Southern Nationals tournament! What an incredible accomplishment for these girls! 👏🥎

Now it’s time to get to work. Rain or shine, we’re ready to compete and make some memories. Let’s go, Nightmare! 💜🩵

Southern Nationals is officially underway! 💜🩵

Our 8U and 14U girls got to kick things off this morning with the Skills Events, competing in the Home Run Derby along with throwing and running relays. It was a fun way to start the week, make some memories, and let the girls show off a little before tournament play begins.

Now it’s time to lock in and get after it. Let’s have a week to remember! 🥎🔥

Our 14U 2030 squad is officially ready for Southern Nationals! Pool play begins tomorrow before we roll into double-elimination bracket play. Time to trust the work, compete for each other, and enjoy every moment.

The wait is over… Southern Nationals starts NOW! 🥎🔥

Our 8U crew is ready to hit the field in Foley and compete against some of the best. Pool play kicks off tomorrow, and we can’t wait to watch these girls have fun, play hard, and make memories together.

💜🩵 We are incredibly grateful for the amazing turnout at our 2026-2027 tryouts! Because of the talent and support we saw this weekend, we’re excited to announce that Nightmare Fastpitch will be fielding TWO 12U teams this season! 🩵💜

We’re still looking for 3-4 more players to round out our rosters. Catchers are especially encouraged to reach out, but we’re open to talking with any athlete who is looking for a competitive, positive environment where they can grow.

Nightmare Fastpitch — Tryout Weather Update 🌧️🥎

Hi parents and athletes! With rain in the forecast, we want you to know we're on top of it and tryouts are still ON.

✅ THE PLAN: We're watching the weather and the field conditions at Shuford closely. As a backup, we have Heard County High School's indoor cages and covered turf field secured in case Shuford is too wet Friday. Our final call on location will be made by lunchtime Friday.

📣 IF WE MOVE INDOORS (12U, please note): To keep the number of athletes indoors manageable, 12U Friday tryouts would move to Saturday's 9 AM–12 PM window. This ONLY happens if we go indoors — if Friday at Shuford is a go, 12U stays Friday as scheduled.

📲 Watch for our final update by Friday lunchtime confirming location (indoor vs. outdoor) and the 12U time.

No action needed right now — we've got a plan either way. Come ready to compete! 🔥
