Ask yourself …am I entering the ocean (with surf conditions) with an “I got this” mindset? Or am I unsure?

If you are AT ALL unsure then it’s TIME TO UP LEVEL your skills.

No swimmer should be on a race course without being a tuned up, ready to go Safe, Savvy, Smart Swimmer. No One is going to do it for you, YOU have to learn AND PRACTICE these skills long before race day.

TBT when I taught the coolest kid ever! Cozi Zuehlsdorff lead actress in Dolphin Tale 1 and Dolphin Tale 2. She is such an amazing young lady...she didn't swim well before the first installment, and we got her up to speed. Then for the 2nd installment we had get her ready to Swim With DOLPHINS!! This was exciting and FUN! She worked SO hard and was really amazing. A true blessing.

Hello Monday! This crew got their swim in, excellent way to start the week.

It’s Chilly out! So best have the right warm equipment *a PROPER swim parka*!! We updated and modernized it with EXTRA warmth, full custom print -no lame embroidery- with YoUR name on it, WARM deep pockets, an extra full inside pocket and thumb holes -you can opt to use them or not- it’s a looker alright!!! If Openwater swim training is your gig a tech towel or a parka is definitely the way to go. Oh! And it’s MADE IN THE USA!

Mid Winter training California style, heated outdoor pool, dark sky and the ambiance of underwater pool lights.
THIS crew (aka camping crew as they set camping lights on the deck so they see their equipment) have been BUSTING it out already and it’s only week 2 of the New Year! Highly motivated and showing up each practice with their work ethic front and center. Tonight they got their new swim caps: Efficiency IS King cause we all know an EFFICIENT stroke is a GAME CHANGER for training AND racing.

Epic openwater swim today! It’s was a “snappy” (as Ray would say) swim with temp at 55! For this crew at first the “ice cream headache” hits, then if a touch of water hits your teeth it ignites your brain and on days like today the kelp feels like chards of glass! But hey, we LOVE iT!
It’s cheap cryotherapy with a view of California’s coastline and Emerald green waters.
