UConn takes the L again in a 64-61 loss to Northeastern to start the 2016-17 season at 0-2. They look to get their first win of the season on Thursday on the road at Loyola Marymount.

Wagner upsets #18 UConn in season opener. It was the first opening loss since 11/11/1999 when Iowa beat the Huskies 70-68 in the Coaches vs. Cancer IKON Classic at Madison Square Garden. There was a few bright spots in the game in Terry Larrier (19 points) and freshman Alterique Gilbert (14 points). No. 18 UConn Falls to Wagner 67-58 in season opener Terry Larrier had 19 points and freshman Alterique Gilbert had 14 to lead the Huskies in a loss against Wagner 67-58 in the season opener for both teams on Friday night.
