In Case You Missed It: Tennis history was made overnight. 🎾 Ben Shelton took down defending champion Carlos Alcaraz 6-7, 6-1, 6-3, 1-6, 7-6 in a US Open quarterfinal for the ages.

The wild stats: the final shot landed at 3:33 AM, the latest finish in US Open history. The battle ran about four and a half hours. It was just the second five-set loss of Alcaraz's career, and Shelton sealed it with a 146 mph ace. Alcaraz came in 14-0 at Slams against Americans and 13-0 against lefties. Not anymore.

My family is the most important thing in my life, with my beautiful wife and daughters. I like the picture with Rod, he's like a father figure to me and an example as a coach."

It's Alice Pacaut, our Women's Programs Coordinator! Originally from Eyguières, France, Alice is a former Division 1 player at Stephen F. Austin and Northern Arizona, reaching #1 in doubles and #4 in singles. She's certified by the French Federation of Tennis and coordinates our Ladies Drills, Teams, and Special Events, plus junior levels and private lessons. Off the court you'll find her spending time on the lake.

Congrats, Nicholas Schweitzer! 🎾 Nicholas is playing college tennis at DePauw University in Greencastle, Indiana, after 13+ years at RCLB. He wanted to play college tennis because he still loves the sport and wanted to be part of a team. His favorite part of playing at RCLB: connecting with all the coaches, playing in CITA, and hitting with friends. We're proud of you, Nicholas!
