🚨 BIG NEWS FOR LOUISIANA HUNTERS! 🦌🇺🇸

It looks like hunting season just got a little quieter! 🤫🔥

With recent changes to federal law and new guidance from the ATF, Louisiana hunters have some exciting news regarding the use of fi***rm suppressors in the field.

According to the Louisiana Department of Wildlife and Fisheries (LDWF), if your suppressor is legally possessed and attached to a fi***rm that is legal for the hunting season, you can use it to hunt without violating state law.

This is a big development for hunters who appreciate reduced noise, a better shooting experience, and being more considerate of others in the field.

Before heading out, make sure you understand the current federal requirements and all applicable hunting regulations. Always verify the latest guidance before your next hunt.

Who’s ready for a quieter hunting season in Louisiana? 🦌🤫

Due to recent changes to federal law and guidance issued by the ATF, tax stamps are no longer required to legally possess a suppressor for your fi***rm. Given these changes, if your suppressor is legally possessed, and it is attached to a fi***rm that is legal for the season you are hunting, you are not violating state law and you are clear to use it to hunt.

🎣☀️ Closing Out the 2026 Toledo Bend Tournament Season! ☀️🎣

Today, Toni and I hit the water for our final Toledo Bend Lake tournament of the 2026 fishing season! We got a late start, finally making it out around 9:30 AM, but we still managed to put a few fish in the boat. Only two were keepers, but every fish and every point counts, and we were able to pick up some much-needed points to finish out the season! 💪🐟

It was one of those beautiful fall days on the water that reminds you why you love being out there. Cool temperatures, sunshine, and not a cloud in the sky! Could we have used a few more fish? Absolutely! 😂 But that’s fishing, and you never know what the next cast might bring.

At the end of the day, the fish are just part of the story. Getting to spend a beautiful day on Toledo Bend with my gorgeous best friend is what it’s really all about. ❤️

Grateful for another season of fishing, great memories, and time on the water. Until next season, Toledo Bend! 🎣

🐗 FIRST PIGGY! 🐗

A pretty special moment in the woods— Linley got her first piggy! And she did it with the help of the DNT Optics ThermNight TNC335R. 🔥

The TNC335R is an impressive all-in-one multispectral optic, combining a 384×288 thermal sensor with Sony STARVIS 2 digital day/night vision. It allows you to quickly detect heat with thermal and then use the digital channel for additional identification. The Picture-in-Picture mode can even display both views together.

The TNC335R also features a built-in laser rangefinder and ballistic calculator, along with onboard recording and 64GB of storage—putting a lot of capability into one compact optic. (DNT Optics Global)

But this was about more than just a first pig.

Feral hogs can cause serious damage to the land we depend on. Their rooting, wallowing, and feeding can destroy pastures, crops, landscaping, fences, and other property. USDA APHIS specifically identifies pasture destruction and agricultural damage as significant impacts of feral swine. (APHIS)

Helping manage those populations is an important part of protecting our property, pastures, and wildlife habitat.

Most importantly, I couldn’t be more proud of Linley. Watching her experience her first piggy is a memory I’ll never forget. ❤️

Great memories, time outdoors, and learning about responsible wildlife management—THAT’S what it’s all about!

It’s not every day you get to say you caught a gator with your grandbaby… and then get to do it all over again with your daughter.

These are the moments we’ll treasure forever, the kind of memories that may seem a little crazy to everyone else, but mean everything to us. Getting to experience life, make memories, and share these adventures with the people we love most is such a blessing.

And honestly, this is one of the best things about being from Louisiana. We may do things a little differently down here, but we sure know how to make memories that last a lifetime.

Two gators. Three generations. A whole lot of love, laughter, and Louisiana memories.

FIRST PIG FOR Linley! 🐗🌙

One of the best parts of hunting is sharing the experience with the next generation. Last night, I had the opportunity to take my daughter hog hunting and help her harvest her first pig! I couldn’t be more proud of her. 🐗❤️

Hog hunting isn’t just about the hunt. Feral hogs can cause significant damage to pastures, food plots, timber, and other property through rooting and feeding. With the amount of damage we’ve been seeing in the field, managing the hog population is an important part of taking care of the land and protecting the habitat for the wildlife we enjoy.

For this hunt, the DNT Optics Hydra 635 absolutely didn’t disappoint. Having a quality thermal optic made it possible to identify and observe activity in the darkness while keeping the focus on safe and responsible hunting practices.

Most importantly, tonight wasn’t just about taking a hog—it was about creating memories, teaching responsible hunting, and watching my daughter experience the excitement of her first successful hunt.

Girls who hunt. Girls who fish. Girls who love the outdoors. The future of conservation starts with the next generation. 🇺🇸

My man Nick Jones with Outdoors with Nick and Penny doing work with the ALL NEW DNT Optics Hydra-Mini!

09/23/2026

The new DNT Optics Hydra-Mini is definitely a tool that fits the way I hunt. Now being able to scan hands free with it being helmet mounted is a game changer. I was hesitant at first with the 256 but it has well passed my expectations. This thing is a game changer scanning hands free in pure darkness!

🔥 LISTEN UP! THIS ONE IS WORTH HEARING! 🔥

Listen to what my man Schuyler has to say about the ALL-NEW DNT Optics HYDRA-MINI! 👀🌙

This little thermal is making a BIG statement! Compact, lightweight, incredibly versatile, and built to go wherever the mission takes you. Whether you’re scanning, running it standalone, using it as a clip-on, or mounting it to a helmet for hands-free operation, the Hydra-Mini brings some serious capability in a ridiculously compact package.

And when someone who actually puts their equipment to work starts talking about it… YOU BETTER LISTEN! 🎯

The Hydra-Mini isn’t just another piece of gear—it’s the kind of optic that makes you stop and say:

“HOW DID I EVER GO WITHOUT THIS?” 🤯🔥

🎥 Hit play and hear it straight from Schuyler!

🌙 THE NEW NIGHT-HUNTING SETUP IS DIALED IN! 🔥

When the sun goes down, having the right equipment can make all the difference. My newest setup combines some serious technology from DNT Optics with the precision and performance of Bilson Arms, LLC.

The all-new DNT Hydra-Mini helmet-mounted thermal is an absolute game changer. Its compact, lightweight design allows for hands-free thermal scanning while moving through pastures, making it incredibly versatile for detecting heat signatures and monitoring the area without having to keep a handheld scanner in your hands.

Once a target is identified, the DNT ThermNight mounted on my Bilson Arms BA-15FC chambered in 6mm ARC completes the setup. The 6mm ARC provides an excellent balance of ballistic performance, accuracy, and manageable recoil in a compact platform, while the ThermNight gives me the thermal capability needed for identifying and engaging targets in low-light conditions.

From helmet-mounted scanning to a dedicated thermal optic on a purpose-built r***e, this setup brings together mobility, technology, and precision in one package.

For responsible nighttime predator management, this combination is hard to beat.

DNT Optics + Bilson Arms = NIGHTTIME PERFORMANCE. 🌙🔥
