Hill announces McLemore’s return to baseball staff - McNeese State University Athletics Peyton McLemore will return to the McNeese baseball staff as an assistant coach and pitching coordinator after spending two seasons with UT-Tyler, head coach Justin Hill announced Friday morning.

A few pictures from last Saturday's Alumni Game. It was a great turn out and it was wonderful to see so many alumni there and catch up! Thank you to the Cowboy Club for providing the meal for everyone after the game! Geaux Pokes!

Eric is back in the hospital so we will be unable to be at the alumni game tomorrow. Steve and Ms. Marilyn will also not be there. We would greatly appreciate it if some parents could help serve after the alumni game tomorrow. The food will be at the ballpark around 11am and will be put into a warmer. I am dropping off the drinks at ballpark today. Thank y’all!

We have everything covered for the meal Saturday except desserts. If anyone would like to bring desserts we would greatly appreciate it! Can’t wait to see everyone at The Jeaux!

Eric and myself are founding members of the Cookin’ Club. While Eric is cooking you’ll usually see me with my camera taking pictures of the game. Due to multiple autoimmune diseases, I had to stop working in May and apply for disability. Almost two weeks ago Eric had a heart attack and had to undergo quintuple bypass open heart surgery. We’ve had some setbacks but I believe Eric is finally on the mend. He has been our sole provider and probably will not be able to return to work until late January. We can’t wait to be back out at The Jeaux with y’all! Go Pokes! 💙💛

A GoFundMe has been started to help Eric Labit and his family with medical bills. Eric is a founding member of the Cookin’ Club and has been a McNeese baseball supporter for over 30 years. He recently had a heart attack proceeded by quintuple bypass open heart surgery. So far he has spent 7 days in ICU with at least 3 more days expected before being transferred to a regular room. Any amount would be helpful. Please keep Eric and our family in your prayers as we navigate what looks to be a long recovery. Thank you!!

Please keep founding Cookin’ Club member, Eric Labit, in your thoughts and prayers. He had a heart attack Monday and is in ICU. He will have quadruple bypass surgery tomorrow morning.
