Relaxed Performance of Disney's 'The Lion King JR' ... May 9 @ 11 a.m. This performance is specially adapted to include modifications to the traditional theatre "rules" + technical elements to reduce anxiety & sensory overload.

⭐Sensory Adjustments: Sound levels are capped to avoid sudden loud noises + house lights remain on at a low level so the theater is never completely dark.
⭐Relaxed Etiquette: It is a "hush-free" zone where audience members are welcome to move around, make noise, or vocalize during the show without judgment.
⭐Supportive Amenities: Assigned ushers to assist + a designated "chill-out" space in the lobby for those who need a break.

Our ABA team had a wonderfully spooky Spirit Week! 🎃👻
Monday- Started our week with some spooky socks! 🕸️
Tuesday- Go Pokes! Celebrated McNeese Homecoming and did a Team Building activity! Thanks again to Bayou Escape Rooms for having us!
Wednesday- We worked on our social skills by going out to the community, and enjoyed taking pictures at a pumpkin patch, followed by fun times at the park! While we were there, we worked on our waiting skills, greetings, and interacting with others!
Thursday- For Halloween, our amazing parents created a fabulous trick-or-treating experience for our learners! Our parents went above and beyond to make it so special!
We also had a special guest teacher for Rockin Recess! 🦖
Friday- We ended our week of festivities with Pajama Day!
Along with our spirit week, our technicians participated in a costume contest and pumpkin decorating/carving contest. 🎃✨
We look forward to continuing our holiday traditions and can’t wait to see what other holiday adventures and memories we can create! ✨🧩
