Every woman’s fitness journey just hits different!

This babe started out with 5lb dumbbells and has now worked her way up to 20lbs. Why you ask?? Because she wants it and loves a challenge. You would be amazed at what you are capable of. Age has no limit!

One of the things we hear the most from women is, “ I don’t want to lift heavy and look bulky”, but then they’ll turn around and say they want to build muscle.
The truth is, building muscle requires progressive overload— gradually increasing the weight, reps, or intensity of your workout overtime so your muscles continue to adapt and grow. 

Here at HERformance, we don’t accept excuses— we work for the results we want. We don’t have time to play games ❌.

Energy is contagious. When one woman shows up and put in the work, it inspires the next woman to do the same. That’s the kind of community we’re building!

Why So Many Women Struggle With Results

If you’re working out consistently, trying to “eat better,” and still not seeing results — you are not alone.

This is one of the most common struggles women face, and it has very little to do with motivation or effort. In most cases, the issue isn’t that you’re doing too much wrong — it’s that you’ve been taught incomplete information.

Many women are told that fat loss comes from eating less and moving more. While calories do matter, this oversimplified message often leads women to under-eat, overdo cardio, and avoid foods they actually need — especially protein.

When the body doesn’t receive enough fuel:
• Energy drops
• Recovery slows
• Muscle breaks down
• Hormones become stressed
• Progress stalls

Instead of burning fat efficiently, the body shifts into protection mode.

Women are especially vulnerable to this because muscle tissue is harder to build and easier to lose compared to men. When calories drop too low without adequate protein, the body often breaks down muscle for energy. This leads to a slower metabolism, less strength, and the frustrating feeling of “doing everything right” with nothing to show for it.

Another major issue is fear — fear of eating more, fear of gaining weight, fear of protein, and fear of becoming “bulky.” These fears often come from misinformation rather than science or experience.

The truth is this:
Your body needs fuel to change.
And protein is one of the most important tools for creating results that last.
