Gateway RC Park private test event.

Hello Racers, please make sure to read the following information and instructions

No arrivals before noon on Friday!!!!!! Entrance will be closed until noon Friday. Practice will begin at 4pm Friday and gates will lock at 11pm Friday night. Gates will reopen at 6am Saturday. Track will be closed after Saturdays completion. No Sunday practice.

The event this weekend is a private/ closed event exclusively for FRCC racers that have attend the series within the last 2 years. An email was multiple times with information for the test event. The park is NOT open to the general public and you must have received invited access to attend. A few of you contacted me directly and received written permission.

As you enter the park, you will see a staging area with an attendant and area to stop in, do not pass this area until instructed. She will be on a golf cart and will direct you on where to go. Follow her and park where instructed. Additionally, as stated above you must be on the invite / approvals list. If you park in the green area shown in the attached photo, this area is for race trailers 18’ or less, you must use side door access if your trailer and ramp door exceed 18’. Once you park in this area, you will need to unhook and park your trucks in the white car parking area. Do not park along the fence, we need to keep this area open as it will be a heavy traffic area with people coming in to reach the large trailer parking area.

With the park still under construction and not officially open to the general public, to help Gateway staff along with county staff. PLEASE NO PHOTOS OR VIDEOS POSTED ON SOCIAL MEDIA. We don’t not want the general public to assume the park is open. The official ribbon cutting ceremony is set for November 20th at 10am. More information will follow.

Park rules do not allow dogs per county ordinances. Please leave your fur babies at home. There will be county officials onsite and they will ask you to take the dog home. There are no exceptions to this rule.

ALL race trailers must have their own power. Onsite power is limited, if you have concerns about power bring a generator as back up. We will have 2 generators for additional power staged and available, but power is limited.

There are restrooms onsite, they are unisex, please keep restrooms clean.

Water availability is limited, if you need water for trailers, you can fill holding tanks, but please bring a long water hose.

With park access restricted please keep travel in and out of the park to a minimum. There is a dollar general adjacent to te property.

We will have 2 air compressors available, no air compressors on house power, you may have your own, but you will need to provide its own power.

Tire wash stations are for washing tires only. Water only, cleaning solvents not allowed. DONT NO CLEAN YOUR CARS IN THE TIRE WASH SINKS.

Please keep your area clean and organized, do not leave trash behind. There is a large blue dumpster to place trash bags and there will also be multiple trash cans throughout the property.

I have updated the post with a VIP pit reservation list. Spots are almost gone, it you want a spot please let me know. Spots a $30 per racer. Just like all other events, 1 racer per table.

Hello everyone, with RCSignup’s blessing we have created an event on RCSignup for this weekends private test event.

If you have attended a FRCC race in the past, you are invited.

This test private event is at the all new Gateway RC Park and is tailored to 8th scale racing. We are offering 4wd SCT and Mini Truggy a long with all the 8th scale classes.

There is no fee and again exclusively for FRCC racers.

VIP PITS ARE SOLD OUT

Florida RC Championships racers, many of you have received the emails, but for those that didn’t.

It is time, I had said many times at past events it was coming and it’s finally here and you get first access. All 8th scale classes offered along with 10th scale SCT and Mini Truggy.

Thank you to Anthony Westergard of Factory Tracks for our first track build.

Thank your to Quality Equipment of Lake City for the donation of the skid steer.

Exclusively for FRCC racers, here is your chance to have access to Florida’s newest track. Gateway RC park.

We have a change for the schedule, we received a great deal of help in the build out and completed the major, most important parts early.

Track will open for practice on Friday at 4pm till 10pm.

Saturday track will open for practice at 7am and racing will start at 11am. This will be a very simple program with likely 1 qual and mains, length will be determined after all entries are entered into the system.

ALL trailers must have their own power. We do have water to fill tanks if needed, but bring a long hose.

Pit tent power is limited as not all power install has not been completed. I will have 2 generators with cords and outlets for you.

The Elite team is setting up VIP tents and if you want one you can comment below. They are $30 per spot.

You will see the attached parking map. Please leave the area next to the wood fence surrounding the track for car parking only.

North side under cover pitting is first come first serve, you will need tent, table chair, there will be limited power so bring a long cord.

South side pitting is for VIP, Speed Demon and Jax RC.

Green trailer parking is for trailers 18’ or less and all vehicles must unhook and park in the overflow lot, no exceptions. Please park on an angle to ease your exit and parking.

The Red VIP area is for Complete Construction, Exalt and other dignitaries.

Racers, please understand, this is a test event, and this facility is still under construction with many projects yet to be completed, however, after eight long years, it is time to see it come to life.

This has been a massive undertaking and many have worked very hard donating time and money to bring this to the masses. We hope you enjoy it as much as we think you will.

We want to thank everyone who made the journey to B&T RC Raceway yesterday! We had some great battles and really enjoyed being sheltered from the scorching sun! Please be safe heading home and we will see yall again for the rescheduled round at Triple Nickel Raceway on October 17th!
