Big congrats to Jon on earning his blue belt, after a couple years of consistent training and patiently finding his way as a competitor. He’s also introduced his entire family to both jiu jitsu and judo, and his kids are becoming monster competitors.

Few things make me happier than seeing a family training together. I’ve been blessed to see many families stick to the long term and it’s a truly wonderful thing to see families grow together and share in each other’s wins, as their kids ease into confident adulthood.

I’d also add that Jon and his wife are among the best parents I’ve ever seen, constantly providing their kids with unique experiences and lovingly keeping them at a high standard in everything—martial arts included.

Congrats, Jon. You’re crushing it 💪
