Great tribute to Coach John Ryan in Today's News-Herald this morning. He will be greatly missed.

The Ryan family would like to share that a Celebration of Life service for Coach John Ryan is scheduled for Friday, January 9th at 3:00pm. It will be held at Calvary Baptist Church, McCulloch Campus. Thank you for keeping the Ryan family in your thoughts and prayers during this difficult time.

It is with a heavy heart that we share the news that Coach John Ryan has passed away. Coach Ryan was our assistant coach from 2006-2016 and for many years after remained involved with our team by officiating our home meets. He had a vast knowledge of the sport and helped so many athletes reach their full potential. He is remembered by athletes across our region for sharing humorous and motivational stories at the starting line that would help ease nerves before a race. Through his involvement in cross country, soccer, and track and field, Coach Ryan has made a positive impact on the lives of numerous athletes at LHHS and beyond. He was a great man and he will be greatly missed. Our deepest sympathy goes out to the Ryan family during this difficult time.
