HAPPY FRIDAY EVERYONE!!

We are also ready to announce TWO NEW SHOP RIDES!!!! Both rides leave from and return to the Trek Bikes Lake May shop.

Our first ride will be EVERY Sunday @ 5:15pm! This is going to be a blast of a ride. We will leave from the shop and head north for 2.5mi and stop for ice cream, then will head back to the shop. For this ride, we've teamed up with Violet's Ice Cream to bring this awesome deal along with the ride. They are offering $5.25 for one(1) scoop and one(1) topping! Last weekend, we celebrated Trek Bicycle Company turning the BIG FIVE-OH!!! Big THANK YOU to everyone who came out to celebrate! We took a lovely ride down the Seminole Wekiva Trail, came back to the shop and partied with coffee & bagels! For our friends who didn't make this ride, DO NOT WORRY we have more rides planned for this year. Stay tuned because you won't miss this.

Stay tuned new laws are coming!

Florida’s electric bike rules may be about to change, and your voice matters.

Florida House Bill 243 and Senate Bill 382 would create a new “electric motorcycle” (e-moto) category for higher-powered e-bikes, add license and age requirements for certain e-bikes, and update how crashes and driver education address e-bikes and e-scooters. These changes could affect where and how people ride, especially on shared-use paths and in neighborhoods.

Florida Bicycle Association has put together a plain-language summary of what’s in the bill, including:

- How “e-motos” would be defined and where they could ride
- New license and age rules for Class 3 e-bikes
- Fines for modifying e-bikes beyond factory limits
- Proposed updates to crash data and driver education
