It’s always been a dream of mine to have a little bicycle service shop in downtown Lake Mills, just like the old Gib’s Bike shop in Merchant’s Alley. I was so fond of that place that I named my first born son ‘Gibson’ (true story).. In Nov of 2016, I moved my family into the apartment above the garage where Gilbert Kersten first opened Gib's in 1933. In the spring of 2017 we officially opened for

As a fifth generation resident of Lake Mills, it was my honor and privilege to fulfill a lifelong dream of reopening Gib’s Bike Shop in 2017 at its ORIGINAL 1933 LOCATION. Unfortunately, after 9 seasons, I’m making the most difficult no-brainer decision of my life and I WILL NOT BE REOPENING GIBS IN 2026. Please accept my sincere gratitude for everyone who has supported me through the years. Lake Mills is a special place because of you. ✌️❤️🚲
Gib's is open for the season! 10-6 Wed-Sat. Bring your bike in anytime for service or come shop for a reconditioned used replacement! Inventory is always changing! Flat's fixed on the spot for $20!✌️❤️🚲
