USA Bobsled/Skeleton Official home of Team USA Bobsled & Skeleton 🇺🇸 teams entered into IBSF sanctioned events and national events.

Based in Lake Placid, N.Y., the USA Bobsled/Skeleton (USABS) is a non-profit corporation and national governing body for the sports of bobsled and skeleton in the United States. As the recognized governing body for the sports of bobsled and skeleton in the United States by the International Bobsleigh and Skeleton Federation (IBSF) and the United States Olympic & Paralympic Committee (USOPC), USABS is responsible for the selection of U.S. USABS empowers United States athletes to achieve sustained competitive success in bobsled and skeleton and to pursue personal excellence and well-being.

🥇 Congratulations, Elana Meyers Taylor 🥇

The most decorated women's bobsleigh athlete in history just added another milestone: induction into the Washington, DC Sports Hall of Fame.

🥎➡️🛷 Her path started in softball at George Washington University, where she was the program's first-ever recruit and a three-time team MVP before she pivoted to bobsled.

At Milano Cortina 2026, her 5th Olympics, she won gold in the Women's Monobob, sending a message to her sons, Nico and Noah, that their mom was now a champion. The IOC called it one of the Games' most beautiful moments. 💛

"The dream of being an Olympian started at age nine," Elana says. "Even though I transitioned to bobsled, my career at GW formed me as an athlete."

Congrats, Elana; we can't wait to see what's next! 🇺🇸
