Big things are happening for our Dragons! 🐲🏈

Florida Atlantic University (D-I Football) reached out and invited a few of our Lake Placid players down for a Game Day Visit, and four of our coaches were proud to dedicate the day to taking these young men down and giving them an opportunity to experience college football at the next level.

FAU rolled out the red carpet with a private pregame event that included a meal, desserts, games, and an inside look at their program. Three of our upperclassmen were also pulled aside for individual measurements and interviews — giving them a chance to put themselves in front of a D-I coaching staff.

A huge thank you to NFL legend Chris Carter, Coach Shane Marinelli, and DT Coach Devin Santana for taking the time to hang out with our Dragons, talk football, and pour into these young men. Those are experiences they won’t soon forget!

Exciting things are happening at Lake Placid High School Football! 👀🔥🐲 And trust me… stay tuned. You may just start seeing some college scouts around our next two home games. 😉

We are incredibly grateful to everyone in our community who continues to support these young men and believes in what we’re building.

Together, We Are One Dragon. 🐲🏈
