Golf training shouldn’t start with an exercise.

It should start with an assessment.

At ELV8, our process is simple:

ASSESS → IDENTIFY → TRAIN → COMPETE

We assess the golfer to understand what they can and can’t do.

We identify the limitations that may be influencing their movement and swing.

We train the root physical qualities that actually need to improve.

Then we integrate those changes back into the golf swing and ultimately, performance.

Because the goal isn’t to make you better at exercises.

The goal is to make you a better golfer.

Individual golfer.
Individual limitations.
Individual plan.

That’s holistic golf training.

A powerful golf swing starts long before the club ever reaches the top of the backswing.

Limited hip internal rotation can significantly reduce your ability to load and rotate the pelvis during the backswing. When the pelvis can’t turn efficiently, your body has to find movement somewhere else to complete the motion.

For many golfers, that compensation happens up the chain.

The lower back begins to rotate excessively, the rib cage loses position, and the arms become disconnected from the body’s turn. Instead of creating depth and sequencing from the ground up, the club is forced onto a steeper path.

The result? An out-to-in swing pattern that often produces the familiar cut or slice ball flight.

What looks like a “swing problem” is frequently a movement problem.

At ELV8, we don’t just analyze the club—we assess the body that’s swinging it. Understanding hip internal rotation, pelvic mechanics, and how each segment influences the next allows us to identify the true source of inefficiencies and build a plan to improve them.

Better movement creates better positions.

Better positions create better ball flight.
