Wanted to shout-out Conner after last weekends mudfest at Washougal Motocross Park LLC for ROUND 4! The course was as sloppy as it can get and and Conner managed to battle through multiple Wipeouts and come thru with a 5th place finish out of about 20 riders!! Definitely his best finish to date despite the harsh conditions!!
Wish I got more pictures but didn't get the memo they were staying off the mx track. Either way we had a blast and Conner was the most muddy he's ever been!
Thanks Team Tortoise Racing for another great event!

We had a blast Saturday at the 5th Annual NW Pitbike Nationals in Arlington! The track was prime and the racing was tight. Kayla McVay even walked away with some cash coming in third in womens class. Our good friend CJ Stevenson also made it out with his 110 and raced 110 stock with Dennis McVay. We made friends with some great people including Bryan Bzerkestol who graciously hosted the event. Check out his company Custom Floor Heating for your next new construction or remodel! Shoutout to C-Sharp Photography LLC for some great pics, well have another deposit coming your way soon!

We had a great weekend of racing yet again!!! Huge shoutout to Team Tortoise Racing and Toutle Motorsports Park for hosting Round 6!!! We were joined again with the Just family and the Wilsons. Conner and all the kids had great races with Conner finishing 15th and maintaining 10th in points in kids 9-12 for the season. All I have to say is we are very proud of the progress he has made and his determination to never give up!
Kayla McVay raced her 150 pretty hard despite her fork seals giving out after rebuild. She placed 18th out of 27 and almost got in a 3rd lap! I believe she to will maintain 10th for points in Womens D!
Just Family Racing had a great weekend too! Finley Just stepped up from her pw and raced her crf 50 and had much better time than at Hannegan Speedway Mt Baker MC . Knox placed 20th in kids 9-12 and would have placed a lot higher if he didnt stop to help Reagan after a nasty spill. Colby had great race in the crowded 85 Am class placing 26th out of 36. With another off seaon full of riding, these kids will be back bigger and better than ever for next season!
Ryan and son Reagan both competed as well. This was Reagans first race since a nasty crash at practice for rnd 5 took him out. He had another crash this weekend in 65 Am his first lap which really brought down his average for a poor finishing spot, but still managed to get 2 laps in. Way to stay in it and finish dude! Ryan raced his 250 in vet D and had a good finish placing 15th out of 28!
This race season has really brought out the best in all of us and brought us all closer together. 6 races, 2 hillclimbs, and too many track and trail days to count! In my book thats the real take away and the real victory! Till next season , WE'LL BE READY!!
