🥊🔥 LET’S WELCOME SMILEY TO THE SENJUTSU FIGHT TEAM! 🔥🥊

We’re excited to officially welcome Smiley to the Senjutsu pro team.

Smiley comes to us with plenty of experience, including becoming a Rise of the Warrior Champion, and now he’s looking to take the next step into professional MMA.

Over the years, we’ve had a lot of fighters reach out wanting to compete under the Senjutsu name. For us, it’s never just about talent or how many fights someone has. We look for the right attitude, work ethic, consistency and someone who fits the culture of the team.

Smiley has been a friend of ours for a while, and when he came to us, he made one thing very clear — he was ready to give 100%.

Since then, he’s backed that up with his work ethic, his attitude and the way he trains alongside the rest of the team.

We’re looking forward to seeing what’s next for him as he prepares to make the jump into the professional MMA ranks.

In Jiu-Jitsu, you learn quickly that strength alone isn’t enough. You have to stay calm, think, adjust, and keep moving when things don’t go your way.

🇺🇸 🇺🇸 NOT GOODBYE, JUST SEE YOU LATER. 🇺🇸🇺🇸

We had a going-away party for Roedel, and this is definitely one of those posts that’s hard to write.

Roedel has been with Senjutsu since day one. He didn’t just train here — he helped build what this place has become.

Everyone who has ever been part of Senjutsu has contributed in some way, but every school has a handful of people who become part of its foundation. Roedel is one of those people.

He has trained, competed, helped younger students, supported teammates, stepped up whenever we needed him and represented Senjutsu the right way everywhere he went. A lot of the success we’ve had over the years has come from people like Roedel who believed in what we were building and put the work in right alongside us.

Now he’s leaving for the United States military, and while Phil and I couldn’t be more proud of him, we’re going to miss him tremendously.

The military is getting someone with incredible work ethic, leadership, toughness, loyalty and character. They are extremely lucky to be getting someone of his caliber.

We’ve had other Senjutsu students leave over the years to serve in the military, and every single time it makes us proud. There is something special about watching someone grow on these mats and then take that discipline and leadership into service to our country. 🇺🇸

Roedel, from Phil, myself and the entire Senjutsu family, thank you for everything you have done for us and for this academy.

You helped shape this place.

You helped make us better.

And no matter where life takes you, Senjutsu will always be your home.

🥊🏆 WHAT A DAY FOR TEAM SENJUTSU! 🏆🥊

A huge congratulations to Denver, Cameron, and Jameson on an incredible performance at their Muay Thai tournament in Pembroke Pines!

🔥 This was Denver and Cameron’s 3rd tournament
🔥 This was Jameson’s 9th tournament
🥇 And ALL THREE boys came home with FIRST PLACE!

For athletes this young to step out there, compete under pressure, listen to their coaches, and perform the way they did is something to be extremely proud of. Every tournament is another opportunity to learn, grow, build confidence, and become better competitors.

A huge THANK YOU to Coaches Brandon and Phil for the time, patience, preparation, and commitment they continue to give these young athletes. What happens on tournament day starts with all the work being put in at the academy beforehand. 👊

And a very special shoutout to Senjutsu fighter Brad! 🙌

Brad originally came into Senjutsu as a dad supporting his two boys, Jameson and Cameron. Now he’s actively training himself, helping with our Junior classes, traveling to tournaments, and stepping up to support not only his own kids, but every member of the team.

That is exactly what Senjutsu is about.

We train together.
We compete together.
We support each other.
And when one of us steps onto the mat or into the ring, the whole team is behind them. 💪❤️

Thank you to every coach, parent, teammate, friend, and family member who continues to show up and support these kids. Their success is built on a lot of hard work — and a great team standing behind them.
