Today was a BUSY day. Results came back from Tacoma Equine for Dani and Sky, then our regular vet, Dr. McCrae at Solas Equine came by for vaccines, dewormer, overall visit and to check on Butter since his surgery (he’s doing great!).
Attached are the results from Dani and Sky.
We also decided to give everyone baths.
Dani was NOT a fan of the water. We got her partially wet, and then realized it was just too much for her, so we let her go and of course, she rolled 😂 so now she is dirtier than before.
Sky was an angel! She loved her bath time. Lots of curry comb action and degreaser and then argan oil shampoo, then conditioner. But then, she also rolled 😂. Still, an improvement! She does have bot fly eggs on her body and legs, which don’t come off no matter how hard you scrub! We added a bot fly knife to our wishlist!
Butter has gotten SO good with baths. Mostly thanks to his daily rinses for his surgery, he was forced to put up with the water, which led him to finally be easy to bathe.
Jugs was an angel as always.
If that was not enough for one day, the goat vet, Dr. Feist came to do annual check-ups and vaccines.
All that said, we appreciate everyone’s support 🙏🏼 but we still need help with hay and medications/vet care. If you are able to help with even a few dollars or an item from our wishlist, we’d be so grateful 💕
