“As we close our 4th season and prepare for our 5th season as a club, we simply want to say THANK YOU!

The response from our community during tryouts was incredible and another reminder that the growth of this club is only possible because of the support, trust, and belief we continue to receive from our community every single season.

What started only a few years ago with a vision and a small group of believers continues to grow in an exponential way because so many people have chosen to invest their time, energy, passion, and support into this club.

To our players, thank you for representing this club with passion, commitment, and pride. You are the heart of everything we do.

To our parents and families, thank you for the sacrifices, trust, and support you give every single day.

To our coaches and staff, thank you for the countless hours and dedication you invest into developing not only players, but people.

To our sponsors and partners, thank you for believing in our mission and helping us continue to invest back into our players and community.

Florida Tropics Academy has become much bigger than soccer. We are building a culture and an environment that brings people together and gives our players a place they are proud to call home.

There is still a lot of work ahead, but we are excited about the future and grateful for every single person who continues to help move this club forward.

🚨 COACH ANNOUNCEMENT 🚨

We’re excited to welcome back Coach Melvin Boateng to the Florida Tropics Academy for the upcoming season!

Coach Melvin will be leading our U11 Girls and U13 Girls teams, continuing to bring his experience, energy, and commitment to player development to both groups. ⚽️

🌍 Background
A native of Ghana, Melvin began his career with the Ghana U20 National Team before continuing his journey in the United States at both the collegiate and professional levels.

🏆 Playing Career
▪️ 3x NCAA Division II National Champion at Saint Leo University
▪️ Former professional player with the Tampa Bay Rowdies
▪️ Competed with Florida Tropics (indoor) and UPSL (outdoor), winning a national championship

🎓 Coaching Experience
▪️ Founder of the GOAL Training Program
▪️ Former coach with Florida Premier FC
▪️ Focused on individual development, technical quality, and growth mindset
