To my wonderful swim families 💙
I wanted to share a quick update that I will not be teaching swim lessons this season as I continue my courses to become fully certified as a Special Education teacher. While I’m excited for this next chapter, stepping away from the pool for now was not an easy decision because teaching your kiddos brought so much joy.
I highly recommend any of the amazing instructors at Watch Me Swim Lakeland & Plant City. Your swimmers will be in such patient, knowledgeable, and caring hands.
Once I complete my certification courses, there’s always a possibility I may revisit teaching swim in the future. Thank you for trusting me with your little swimmers and for all the support along the way. 💙

Hi Swim Families!

Starting May 12th will be the ONLY 6 weeks swim session I will be doing in North Lakeland for the year. After this 6 weeks I will be switching from pool to classroom to teach full time in the fall. All my current families will be referred to Plant City or Mulberry locations for refreshers in the fall and spring.
My schedule is filling up quickly. Posted below are available time slots for new or refreshers students.

My hours are 8:30-12:00.
All New Students must start on May 12 to get the full 6 weeks.
Refresher students range from 2-4 weeks depending on if we are adding skills to your child’s survival swim sequence.

Thinking of all my families as we prepare for Hurricane Milton. Please be vigilant of open water after the storm. Keep extra close eyes on our children.

⚠️During times of crisis, like a , it’s easy to get distracted as adults focus on safety, preparations, and recovery. But it’s crucial to remember that drowning can happen in seconds, especially when children are left unsupervised near water. Storms often leave pools, ponds, and lakes unsecured and more dangerous than usual. As we prepare for this , let’s prioritize water safety too. Stay vigilant, secure water sources, and never leave children unattended around water, even for a moment. Drowning prevention is vital, even in the midst of chaos.

🚨 September 23rd will be my last session in North Lakeland this season, due to some unforeseen circumstances with the heater in the pool I am utilizing. Before the weather gets chilly and the temperature of the pool drops. Please send me a message!

💧World Drowning Prevention Day, declared in April 2021, is held annually on 25 July. Every year, an estimated 236,000 people drown, making drowning a major public health problem worldwide.

💙 The Water Smart Tots Foundation is dedicated to preventing childhood drowning by raising awareness and providing water safety education throughout the greater Tampa Bay Area.

This sweet girl came to me as a refresher student who previously graduated as a roll to float in 2023, taught by another wonderful instructor & teammate of mine ❤️.
Now in 2024 she is graduating from her refreshers as a swim float swim!
It’s amazing what a year of growth and development can do for our littles. Thanks to this wonderful mother for keeping up with her refreshers and no interference.
