Sunshine Grand Prix

Well, there it goes another chance to promote the best national level event in Florida. The lack of quality courses and costs prevent us from hosting this event with the quality we want for you, and we are very sorry to inform you that we are postponing the Sunshine Grand Prix until further notice. Stay safe and enjoy each breadth and pedal stroke, until soon!

We are working on final signatures and details to host the event this year on March 19-21 not March 26-28 as originally planned, and we will update you as we get confirmations. It has been very difficult to secure venues with all that has been going on, but we are marching on to have fun and to keep the event on its mission. Thanks for supporting!

IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT - the 5th edition of the Sunshine Grand Prix is hereby postponed until March 26-28, 2021.

As most of you know, we lost the Inverness Downtown criterium course, and we had to scramble to find a permanent home for our highlight event of the year.

We have been working with the City of Jacksonville since early January; and while all paperwork has been completed, the approval of the budget and partial support has not come through as of this morning. We have tried everything possible to pull it off on time, but we are now forced to make the hard decision to postpone the event until 2021.

Our plans were to feature two great criterium courses near downtown, and to enjoy a prelude of portions of the road course being used for Elite Amateur Nationals.

Ending on a positive note, we have commitment from the city to host the 5th edition of the Sunshine Grand Prix in Jacksonville on March 26-28, 2021. Please save the date and look forward to the return of the best event in Florida!
