GTE Legacy Development Team is BACK 🏀💗

Legacy is for girls who need a place to learn the game, build confidence, and develop.

This is not a traditional travel team. We’re building players through intentional skill development, team concepts, character development, assessments, and in-house game experience, all within a curriculum.

Legacy is a September–June developmental program, but families who aren't ready for the full team commitment can also take advantage of select $20 drop-in development sessions throughout the season.

HUGE SHOUT OUT TO WEBBER INT., FLORIDA POLY TECH, & FLORIDA SOUTHERNS ALUMNI for coming out this week to do evaluations for our ladies during practice! These are the intangibles that help shape our development trajectory 🦾

Each player got to walk away With an evaluation form each coach on strengths and weaknesses.

Growth mindset research (Dr. Carol Dweck, Stanford) shows athletes who treat feedback as information — not identity — improve significantly faster than those who avoid it. 🦾🦾🦾

We’re up to 83 pairs of shoes collected for Gambia—and we’re still counting! 🙌🏾

Thank you to everyone who has donated so far. In partnership with Let It Fly Basketball Academy, we’re helping provide something many of us take for granted: a good pair of shoes.

Our goal is 200 pairs by July 15! If you’d like to donate, message us for pickup or meet us at Simpson park next Tuesday, Thursday or Saturday to drop your shoes off. Every pair makes a difference. 🇬🇲💙
