This Saturday, our Black Onyx athletes will discover where they rank among the best of the best from across the country!

After earning 1st place at Florida’s The One Finals, Black Onyx advanced to The One Global Finals, where a panel of judges reviewed and rescored each qualifying team’s best performance. During the live reveal, they’ll find out how their routine compares to the other first-place teams from The One events nationwide.

What an incredible accomplishment for this team! From the first practice of the season to now, they have worked tirelessly, pushed through challenges, and continued to raise the bar every time they stepped on the mat.

No matter where they place, we are beyond proud of everything they have achieved this season. Being part of this elite group of champions is something worth celebrating, and we can’t wait to share this exciting moment with them!

We’re kicking off an exciting month at Lakeland Xpress Athletics with programs for every age and skill level. Whether your athlete is brand new or ready for the next challenge, June is the perfect time to get started.

⭐ Shooting Stars Basics Academy (Ages 3–15)
Our fun, fundamentals‑focused cheer program teaches:
• Stunts
• Basic Tumbling
• Jump Technique
• Motions
• Dance

Athletes will learn a full routine and perform at our end‑of‑program showcase for family and friends!

Program Details:
• 1 practice per week
– Ages 3–6: Wednesdays 5:30–6:30 PM
– Ages 7–15: Mondays 6:30–7:30 PM
• 8‑week session
• Start Date: June 1, 2026
• Showcase: July 31, 2026 (6–8 PM)
• Cost: $250 (or 2 payments of $125)
• Includes: Registration fee, T‑shirt, Tuition, Award Ceremony & Showcase

Over the next two hours, letter groups will be sent out by email. Please be sure to check your spam/junk folder as well. If your athlete receives two letter groups, they will attend both.

There will be ZERO meetings, emails, phone calls, or messages regarding letter groups. Our staff will not respond to any communication about letter placements, flyer selections, or evaluation decisions.

If you have not received your athlete’s letter group by 11:00 AM, please email [email protected] at that time.
