Lakeland Lawn Bowling Club was established in 1923 and is situated in Lake Parker Park, Lakeland. Club fees are inclusive of SED and USLBA dues.
The Lakeland Lawn Bowling Club is a member of the Southeast Division of the United States Lawn Bowling Association. The object of the game is to roll the bowl as close to the jack as possible. The bowl is not completely spherical allowing it to curve toward the jack as the momentum is lost. The bowl curves left or right depending on how it is held during delivery. We will start regular bowling dates on Monday January 6. Come by 915am on Mondays and Wednesdays so we can start bowling at 930am. See you on the greens!
We had a few bowlers out this morning!
We decided that we will dedicate Monday and Wednesday mornings, 9:30 - 11:30 to bowling at our Lakeland Lawn Bowling Club.
If you would like to bowl at another time during the week, please contact one of the executive.
We are excited about running a Learn to Bowl Program in January. It would consist of 4 sessions, depending on the interests of the bowlers. Cost will be discussed once we have a December meeting. Likely it will be $40, depending on what is decided by the Southeast Division and the Board. A full membership would cost $40 less if the LTB course is done.

Lakeland Lawn Bowling Club is up and running.
Memberships are $100 per year.
We will be meeting on Friday, Dec 13 with the city at the club at 9:30 am and bowling afterward.

Learn to Bowl in 4! At Lakeland Lawn Bowling Club, Robson Street, Lakeland.
4 lessons in 4 days for $60. 2 hours each. Monday and Thursday at 4:00.
(First 30 min will be introductions, practise, social and questions.)
Fee includes membership until the end of that month.
Qualified coaches, Previews of each lesson emailed each week after registration.

All equipment provided. Wear comfortable shoes.

We are coming to the end of the 2023-2024 season here at the Lakeland Lawn Bowling Club . Today we enjoyed a shortened game and then held our annual general meeting. We wrapped up our time together with lunch at Miller's.
