The How & Why | BKK Permalock Hooks + Flukes = MORE BASS!

The BKK Hooks International Permalock weighted hook paired with a Zoom Bait super fluke has become one of my favorite ways to fish this summer! 🎣

The added weight gets the fluke deeper and keeps it in the strike zone longer, while allowing me to work the bait faster and trigger more reaction strikes.

It also allows the bait to look more natural without a weight hanging off the front and gets through grass and cover much easier.

Let’s just say the Jackson Kayak Fishing BigRig got a real test of its stability and durability on this one. 😂

Hit the tree and somehow stayed upright. The BigRig handled it like a champ and kept me from going for a swim.

Definitely says something about these kayaks! 🎣

This trip was one for the books! 🎣

A few days fishin on Lake Seminole in Georgia, chasing bass from the Jackson Kayak Fishing BigRig, putting the Garmin Fish & Hunt Force Current trolling motor through hell with the trees, enjoying some good company, and taking in everything this place had to offer. From the fishing to the scenery, it was a trip worth remembering. Even the sunburn!

Thank you Florida BASS Nation Kayak Series for another awesome event! Can’t wait for next season.

Sometimes fishing isn’t ACTUALLY about the fishing at all.

Some trips are about more than just catching fish.

Took a trip back to the streams where we learned how to fish. This was about old memories, good friends, and paying homage to our dads who first put fishing rods in our hands.

Sometimes you just need to get away, clear your head, and remember where it all started.

You don’t need to catch big fish, buy expensive gear, or have a perfect fishing spot to have a great time. Sometimes all it takes is a small pond, some worms, and a few bluegill.

Get kids outside, get them fishing, and let them make some memories. 🎣

Some days don’t go the way you planned. You’re going to have heartbreaking moments, just as in life. What defines you is what you do after those moments. Keep moving forward, learn from it, and keep going.
