Drove out to Okeechobee feeling ready for this one.

Got camp set up, spent time by the fire, and rigged everything I thought I’d need. Felt like I might’ve had something figured out.

Tournament day came… and I threw everything I had at ‘em.

Nothing worked.

Didn’t catch a single fish. Finished 26th out of 29.

But sitting out there at the end of the day, looking across all that water, it hits you…

It’s bigger than just catching fish.

It’s the peace in the outdoors. The quiet. The reset you don’t get anywhere else.

Even when you don’t catch anything, you’re still walking away with something.

Locked in on this stretch and my kayak setup delivered.

Being able to hold position with the Force Current made all the difference. Sat on this spot, picked it apart, and stacked multiple fish because I wasn’t getting pushed off target.
