Very comfortable morning on the water with a little wind, clouds, and a ton of fish for the Don's Auto Repair group. Group dwittled in numbers due to prior commitments and some unexpected things. Did an afternoon/evening trip due to the winds this morning and boy did it pay off! Beautiful evening with no boats around us. The Cuneo group from PA put the smack on some great fish. 5 over 24" and 1 at 28" on Big Fish Tuff Tackle Co. 40's back 35/60 with spoons.

Slow bite today but we finished it for Day 3 with my Wisconsin boys. Big Fish Tuff Tackle Co. 40's back 25-40 with spoons and Eriegardless Custom Lures PWC'S with 2oz back 70'.

Awesome morning weather wise for Day 2 of 3 for my Wisconsin boys. Went searching after yesterday in an area I haven't fished all year. We were the ONLY boat in sight...the grade was excellent but on the slow side. Finished with a nice catch of 30 quality eyes on Big Fish Tuff Tackle Co. 40's 35-60 back with spoons. Back at it tomorrow for Day 3 with this group and probably try a different area.

Today's theme... STRUGGLE BUS! Some days you have days like this and today was our turn. Between a mass number of short fish and unexplainable tangles made it one of those days. But we held tough and managed just a few short of their limit for Day 1 of 3. Tomorrow's gotta be better...

Steve finally got to use his gift certificate from Misty that was originally planned for last year. Due to a reschedule and then life getting in the way, we finally got him out this morning. Left the ramp at 8am, ran east of Kelley's a few miles and made one long troll with the waves. Got their limit in a couple hours plus got mine on cleanup.
