Equine Journey

Julia and Lucy pulled of a new one for me. My first student to ever earn a 10!! Wow! She has worked so hard creating a partnership with Lucy. They competed at Valinor today in gorgeous weather. They scored 64.4 in intro A with 2nd place and 60.3 with 3rd place in intro B. Thanks Jackie Orlando for helping us find an amazing pony. What a way to end the show season!! 🎉🎉

We went to Belands schooling show today. Emma and Abbey showed intro B and C and won 3rd place in both classes. Julia showed Lucy in intro A and B and won 2nd place in both classes. The cool fall breeze rustling through the trees has the horses a little more reactive than normal. Both girls handled the horses squirrel and torpedo antics well. Lucy decided to start cantering down the centerline but Julia reined it in at the last moment and we just laughed at the end of her class. Lucy the torpedo pony 🤣🤣. She was so quiet in the warmup, it was unexpected 🤣🚀 great job ladies!

I have some rare openings for lessons😱! We have a massive 100x200’ indoor riding arena to keep us riding all year long. Try something new, get back to it, great exercise and very safe lesson horses.

Looking for barn help in the afternoons 3:30-5:30. Chores would be to bring horses in, set up breakfast for the next day in paddocks, feed dinner, sweep, and recheck water. 9 horses, All easy to handle. Options to Work to ride or cash. Must be able to work independently and be friendly to children and clients. I run a very family oriented lesson program. Prior horse experience is helpful but willing to train the right person. Congratulation to Emma trying out her first time cantering in the show ring. We had some anxiety but Abbey helped show her how to do it! Emma worked through her emotions and came out of the ring beaming with pride in herself. Abbey and Emma showed intro B with 57.8% and 5th place and Intro C (the big canter worry) with 58.2% and 2nd Place!! Great work Emma. I’m so proud of you for pushing yourself through it. What would we do without our Abbey girl ♥️

Congratulations to Julia for helping Lucy make her dressage debut at Belands schooling show today!! They make a lovely pair. Julia has been working hard and Lucy has given her a new found confidence. We are so lucky to have found this beautiful pony to add to our team. They earned 59% with 3rd place in intro A and 59.6% with 4th place in intro B.
